Custom Tattoo Process
-
Before you submit your inquiry
The most important part of beginning the process is having a clear idea of what you want. I can always help flesh out a basic idea, but I won’t decide what your tattoo will be for you. It’s a good idea to have subject matter, placement, sizing and scheduling in mind before filling out an inquiry form.
I offer a few different types of tattoo sessions. Please review the info in the next section under “Session Types” to figure out which one suits you the best.
Please avoid including too much personal information in your inquiry. I am always happy to take on a memorial tattoo or scar coverup, but I need to have healthy boundaries for my mental health when it comes to more emotionally charged work.
-
After you submit your inquiry...
I go through all inquiries in the order in which they are received.
Please be patient in our response, as I usually get around 20-30 inquiries within the first day or two. I don’t take on every idea, but I will contact you either way.
I generally take between 5-7 business days to get through the first round, so please be patience and don’t give up hope!
Please do not send me a follow up DM or email asking if I got your inquiry.
-
Consultations & Booking
After your idea has been accepted/reviewed, I will let you know how many sessions I estimate you’ll need for your project, and send you a few date options ( one for the initial tattoo appointment, and one for the consultation).
Once you have confirmed the dates for both the tattoo and the consultation, I will send you an invoice to pay your deposit*. Then you’re all set!
Not All Custom tattoos require a consultation.
*please be ready to put down a deposit when you submit your inquiry. I will not hold a date if you are unable to submit your deposit within 48 hours of receiving your invoice.

If you follow me, you should know what my work typically looks like. I tend not to deviate too much from strongly outlined and well-rendered pieces, but just in case, this is my breakup-list:
“No /light shading”
“Only linework”
“Scientific illustration”
Right now I am not looking to take on botanical pieces, unless there is another element included like an insect, animal, magical thing, etc.
-
I am all for having a particular aesthetic you are going for - however I only can tattoo things in my stye and ask my clients to give me as much creative freedom as they can. This results in a much better tattoo experience on both sides!
If there is a particular tattoo style you like that is not reflected in my current portfolio, you can always ask me. I’ve been known to take on an American Traditional piece here and there but for the most part there are artists here in Seattle and elsewhere that are much more skilled than I am in other styles! I have a list of people I refer out to that are safe, respected, and rad humans!
-
I do, but on a case-by-case basis! I absolutely love coverups and appreciate the challenge, but I will always be 100% honest as to whether my skill level matches what’s needed, or if laser is needed beforehand.
I do not do any coverups that are not color.
-
No. I build in plenty of time at the beginning of your appointment to go over the design and make any necessary changes.
Clients that opt into a Full-Day or Half-Day session of any type, I will do my best to provide with their design the day or two before your appointment. These clients can also ask for progress sketches, but no earlier than 2 weeks prior to their appointment.
-
I do my best to post updates on where I’m at in booking/replying to people on my socials - so please keep an eye out there!
Session Types + Rates
I started to offer different appointment types in late 2023, as a way to offer more economical options for my clients seeking larger pieces ( such as sleeves, leg or arm panels, chest, back, or necks).
In an effort to keep things as straightforward as I can, but offer the most options, please click on the type you’re interested in learning about!

Just what it sounds like! This is the default of most tattooers.
I only ever charge for the time that needle is to skin, and run a timer during your session for transparency. I pause this timer for any longer breaks or bathroom breaks.
My rate is at $225/hr with a $300 deposit - this deposit is NON REFUNDABLE but counts towards the FINAL session of your tattoo.
I am currently offering a discounted rate of $200/hr for LARGE SCALE Black and gray projects such as sleeves, back pieces, leg or arm panels, full torso. This rate is offered at my discretion.

Works similarly to booking a standard custom piece, but a little more concentrated. A great option for someone coming in from out of town, or to get a large project started.
You'll have me the full day, from 12pm-9pm, with a hard 9pm cut off.
Also includes a more collaborative design process, planned lunch, several breaks, aftercare products.
The collaborative design process includes up to 2 in-progress sketches of the design process at your request. These in-progress sketches can be requested no more than 2 weeks prior to your initial session.
Full day sessions are set up for my clients who know they can sit for at least 6-8 hours.
Day Rate: $2000
Deposit Required: $1000 (50%)
Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE but count towards the session. A deposit Agreement is required.

Similar to the Custom Full Day session, this is that, but x 2!

Total cost: $2800 *

Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE, but 1/2 counts towards each day. A Deposit Agreement required.

Open Canvas Sessions are for clients who want to fully trust the process and let me take the creative lead. These full-day appointments are designed for large, original pieces—without the usual back-and-forth of design revisions. You won’t see the artwork beforehand, but we’ll review it together at the start of your session to make sure you’re excited to move forward. I’ll even provide lunch to keep us fueled for the day. Open Canvas is perfect for people who love my style and want something unique, bold, and thoughtfully crafted.
Pick from a list ( posted on my Instagram) of concepts I’ve been dying to do, but haven’t gotten asked for yet. Propose a size, and a placement, and I do the rest.
Introductory Pricing for the first 7 Clients who are ready:
Full Day Rate: $1500 ( usually $2000)
Half Day Rate: Available on request
Deposit Required: $300
Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE but count towards the session
Need a touchup?
Please keep in mind this is for tattoos I have done only. Touchups are done with a $50 set up fee**
** with the rising costs of supplies, I am asking all touchup appointments pay the set up fee, even if your tattoo was done in the past year.
